Thinking clearly with your data: From data to draft, using AI tools without letting them do the thinking for you

As part of RUFORUM’s Postgraduate Support Webinar Series, this session speaks to a real tension many researchers face today: the pressure to adopt AI tools while worrying it might undermine the rigor of their own work.

Thinking Clearly With Your Data takes a practical, mindset-first approach to that concern. Rather than treating AI as a shortcut, the session shows PhD and Masters students how to sharpen their literature review, strengthen data analysis and move confidently from findings to a well-argued draft, all while keeping the researcher firmly in charge of the thinking.

Facilitated by Nimrod Muhanguzi, Program Officer for Digital Economy Integration at RUFORUM, the session is part of ongoing efforts to build practical digital skills among postgraduate students across RUFORUM’s member universities.
