The Triennial Conference, under the main theme: Operationalising Higher Agricultural Education and Research Ecosystems for Innovation, Industrialisation and Economic Development in Africa: A Call for Action, was a response to the pressing need for action on the part of African governments, development partners, the corporate sector, and the general public to invest in agricultural higher education in order to support the urgent development requirements of the continent in a way that is inclusive and sustainable.
