We are excited to announce that Prof. Patrick Okori will be a keynote speaker at the 2025 Agri4D conference scheduled to take place in Uppsala, Sweden from 23 – 25 September 2025.
As the Executive Secretary of RUFORUM, a network of 175 universities across 40 African countries, Prof Okori is a leading voice in agricultural science, education, and innovation. With a PhD from SLU – Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and a long-standing commitment to capacity building, crop improvement, and strategic leadership, Prof Okori has shaped agricultural research and policy across Africa, from commercialising over 30 crop varieties to mentoring the next generation of scientists. Early in his career, Prof Okori was part of the team that developed Eastern Africa’s premier agriculture, bio policy and bio innovation research programme BioInnovate Africa.
